Noble Environmental Technologies and the Municipality of Boxtel Join Forces at GreenTech Park Brabant
On Tuesday 9 October 2018, the municipality of Boxtel and Noble Environmental Technologies signed an agreement for collaboration at GreenTech Park Brabant in Boxtel. By doing so, both parties commit to achieving a feasible business case for Noble Environmental Technologies. The company wants to open a production facility for ECOR® materials at GreenTech Park in the future.
Noble Environmental Technologies develops high quality panels and products from organic, renewable residual streams. ECOR® is a sustainable alternative to a range of traditional materials, such as: MDF, plywood and hardboard.
ECOR® panels are used by, among others, the construction industry, architects and product developers for purposes like interior decoration, decorative panels, furniture and packaging.
Only recycled and recyclable materials of natural origin are used. This method fits well with the objectives of GreenTech Park Brabant. For example, pruning wood is collected at GreenTech Park Brabant, a possible feedstock for ECOR®.
GreenTech Park Brabant Vorst B in Boxtel sees the development of a business park focused on GreenTech: the GreenTech Park Brabant. Companies and educational institutions focused on innovation and sustainability are invited to set up business there.
The municipality of Boxtel therefore closely collaborates with various partners, including the Province of Noord-Brabant, entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions and government; an important asset of the emerging ‘circular economy’. The total area is about 9 hectares big and still under development.
The municipality of Boxtel will stimulate the development of GreenTech Park Brabant by enabling practical examples to grow on Vorst B.
